Surf Lessons for Beginners

Our beginner lessons focus on building confidence in the water, teaching you the fundamentals of paddling, popping up, and catching your first waves in a safe and supportive environment.

Rundown of your lesson

Our local surf instructors will start by guiding you through a theory session tailored to make you feel more comfortable in the water and build confidence and correct form.
We will then hit the water where we will put your theory to use. Practising standing up, paddling, simple turning and getting comfortable in the water with your board. Our instructors will help you catch the waves when needed
Once you finish your surf lesson, we will give you personal feedback on ways to keep improving your surfing and what to work on for your next lesson with us.

Surf Lessons for Intermediates

For those who already have some experience, our intermediate sessions help you progress to the next level—improving your wave selection, turning technique, and overall flow on the wave.

Rundown of your lesson

Our local surf instructors will start by guiding you through a theory session focused on wave positioning and timing, learning to better read the wave to improve your surfing. We will also focus on pop-ups and paddling techniques to make you feel more confident in the water.
Put theory into practice by focusing on turning and wave selection. Our instructors encourage you to take on waves independently while providing support when needed.
Once you finish your surf lesson, we will give you personal feedback on ways to keep improving your surfing and what to work on for your next lesson with us.
